Course objectives 

1. This lesson will provide you with theory, examples to clarify design, rules and what not to do to help you develop a good composition.  A good composition is the gravity that holds the painting and expresses a mood. 

2. The course is intended to help you to develop your own unique way of composing, while keeping in mind the do’s and don’ts of design in painting landscapes.  

Learning objectives 

In this lesson, you will create representational and abstract paintings in scales of grey, to open new creative paths to your personal aesthetics of value and volume of shapes!

1) How to view the scene in terms of concepts, design and mood.   

2) Concepts unique to landscapes, such as weather, etc.
