Expressionism

This is a fun and excellent way to break out of your comfort zone while working on your artistic talent. Instructor, Mariam Qureshi, personally works with each attendee in order to discover and work on artistic shortcomings by reinforcing the most basic art techniques of expressionism to allow each student to boldly express through paint, brush strokes, emotion and expression. Sometimes the student may be required to re-produce a painting, to better understand the technical lesson. This allows the student to learn in a fun and exciting way rather than theoretical. Other times the students will be requested to work on learning how to compose, block out an idea, create a colour or grey scale to better grasp technical ways of expressing what they want the viewer to perceive by using techniques such as shading, colour, shapes, lines, strokes and scales of layers. In either case, each class is an important, but a fun expressive experience. You may want to try a one of class or decide to get an expressionist pass. All materials will be provided. Student’s Schedule will be accommodated.
