LEARN CHARCOAL DRAWING

Want to learn how to use new art materials? Sign up for Charcoal today. This class is a great option for people who have previously taken art an introductory courses in Drawing. During each session, we break from basic elements of art in order to start creating meaningful artwork. This is an excellent way to work on contrast, volume and shading while working on your artistic talent. Instructor, Mariam Qureshi, personally works with each attendee in order to discover and work on artistic shortcomings by reinforcing the most basic art techniques of charcoal drawing to allow each student to create quick sketches and then work on them to enhance them into drawings. Sometimes the student may be required to sketch from memory or presented items, other times they may be required to walk to the closest park from the gallery to create a quick sketch outdoors and finish it at the gallery. In either case the students will decide based on their intention. Each class is an important, but a fun way to learn to draw and play with contrast. You may want to try a one of classes or decide to get a couple of them, either way you will get to focus on making better drawings.
